Online shopping is now getting to be a preferred main way of purchasing goods and services. With the potent reach of the internet, there are now incredible arrays of offers and almost endless sources of goods at very competitive prices.

Online malls and stores are opening their doors while on the other hand more and more retail stores are closing their operations. As the retail stores diminish its influence, it is now sometimes becoming harder and harder to find one with a good selection of what you are really looking for.

Recently I went to a store to buy a specially made backpack.  The store I went to advertised the one I was looking for, the perfect color and size.  However when I got there they only one in stock which was not the right color.  They told me they could order it and I would have it in a week.

I left the store and did what many other have done.  I went online and ordered one at a cheaper price.  After the order went through the pack was at my door in four days.

As customer service and inventory drop at retail stores, more will close their doors.  In my opinion only the stores with a true customer first policy will be the ones that last through this era.

Internet malls offer just about anything you are looking for; from fragrances, jewelry, apparel to gaming consoles and car parts.

Online malls are basically the same as a department store with out the hassle, and if you can find one with discounted prices even better.
Shopping online can save you gas and also lower your stress levels.  There is no fighting for that parking spot or dealing with less than happy people.  So why not shop online.

Another bit of advice: if you shop retail, be sure to find out what happens to any warranties in case the store close its operation. This has happened to me and an item I bought with a warranty is no longer valid.
